Samantha Yabut is a Filipino-Canadian filmmaker based in Toronto.

She is an honours graduate of Sheridan College's Bachelor of Film and Television program.

Samantha has edited several successful short documentaries including On the Fence which is currently streaming on CBC Gem as part of the Toronto Reel Shorts collection, was selected for the 2021 Women in Film and Television Showcase, and was screened at Vancouver International Women in Film Festival. She produced and edited Animal Calling which has been selected to play at more than 10 Film Festivals in North America and Australia.
